    Every week a short love note, telling you what's happening this week and giving you all the news, access and updates first. Once a month you'll receive the Yoga Vayu newsletter. You will always be the first to know.

    Our video library is growing steadily. You get access to all videos of classes from before you joined as soon as you join + access to all Yoga Nidra recordings.

Restore & Relax

what can you expect

This membership has 1 main goal. We focus on helping you relax. In our world today there are always so many things you can be doing, it's getting harder for most of us to do nothing. Let alone to fully relax and let go of the idea you need to do things.

We will practice a combination of Restorative Yoga, meditation & Slow conscious movement in our Live Streams every Tuesday. In these streams I will give you the tools to find deep relaxation by using props (pillows, blankets) to support your body. This support makes it easier for your body to let go of stress. Once the body does that, the rest will follow.

Once a month we will practice Yoga Nidra where the body sleeps in stillness as the mind goes on a journey. These live group classes will be online and audio only.

Every Friday you will receive new content in your membership. Starting in 2021 we make this content  short. Anywhere from 7 to 30 minutes to make sure you can fit this practice into your day. This content can be video or audio materials. Nidra, Breath work, Meditation and instructional content to help you find the relaxation we all need.

What do you need?

let's talk props

In Restorative Yoga we use props to make each pose as comfortable as possible. In the studio we would use a Yoga mat, bolsters, Yoga blocks and blankets. 

Practicing from home you might not have these props readily available. No  need to worry! We can use props that you do have at home!

Every week we will post the props you will need for the live class in your membership.

Props that we will use include:

  • 1 Yoga Mat (to keep the props from sliding)
  • 3 pillows
  • 3 blankets
  • 1 big towel
  • shawl or belt
  • Eye cover (a shawl or guest towel works too!)
  • something to cover up with (comforter or 4th blanket)
  • a chair (or your couch)
  • the wall

If you have Yoga props you will need:

  • 1 Yoga mat
  • 3 to 4 (Yoga) blankets
  • Yoga belt
  • 2 to 3 Yoga blocks
  • 1 Yoga Bolster
  • Eye cover (a shawl or guest towel works too!)
  • something to cover up with (comforter or 4th blanket)
  • a chair (or your couch)
  • the wall

Create props:

  • Create a bolster by rolling a pillow firmly into a large towel or a blanket.
  • Instead of a Yoga belt or strap you can use a neck tie or a shawl. A belt can work too, preferably a supple and soft one.

Biddy Messchaert

I am so excited to welcome you here. My main goal - every time I teach - is to help you find what you need on the Yoga Mat. Whether that's challenging yourself to do more, or challenge yourself to do less. I am here for you and will help you step of the mat feeling good. Not just about what you just did, but about yourself! I am a certified teacher in Flow Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Rainbow Kids Yoga. I live in Delft, the Netherlands and when I started teaching Yoga I realized that that was what I want to do more than anything. I love it! I am also a Wellness Advocate for doTERRA essential oils, so feel free to ask me any oil related questions as well! I look forward to getting to know you better!
